A young human-like mythical figure - a dwillet - called BB travels Ulecea, a country on the magic planet Serren, giving help and advice to those in need. When he was born, his mother noticed that he seemed brighter than average and when this brightness became apparent, she put forward the idea that he should travel the land helping others. At the age of ten, BB's family see him off on his travels. Along the way he meets many characters human, mythical and talking animals including an eccentric postbird, a jealous disruptive elf schoolboy and evil castle residents an ogre, a Great Dane and their nauseating troll cohorts, who all help to make his journey, which is filled with adventure, thrills, music and wild times as well as terror, anxiety, danger and deadly encounters, unforgettable.
