Due to having a low income and 4 children, 2 are disabled, we are in need of a driveway and a dropped curb. We live in a small village and on a public road. It's not very often we get to park outside our house due to the fact we are close to a school, park and not many houses in our area have driveways so the majority of neighbours park on the road. This means I'm parking away from home, sometimes on a different street to our home. 2 of my children are autistic, 1 is 50% non-verbal and has a heart murmur which means he can't be as active as long as other children, he gets tired quicker. If I have all 4 children with me or even just my 2 disabled children, it's very hard to make sure none of my disabled children, mainly my son, don't get distracted and walk into the road whilst I'm getting the others out the car or I'm getting the shopping out the boot, it's even harder if we're parked away from home, my son has no concept of danger and both of them get distracted easily, sometimes making them wander without realising where there walking.
Because of all this, I'm kindly asking for help to improve my and my children's situation. Having a driveway will help keep them away from the road and other dangers.
